The San Francisco based company, Torani, is expanding their product line and they are joining the growing market of single-cup coffee offerings with their own versions of some popular flavors. Their introduction includes Toasted Hazelnut, Coconut Macaroon, Salted Caramel along with standards such as French Vanilla, Breakfast Blend and Italian Roast. The new single serving capsules are compatible with the Keurig K-Cup brewer, including the 2.0 version. Single Cup Coffee , the Canadian specialty coffee company will distribute the Torani coffees across North America.
Torani is most known for its flavored syrups that are used in many coffeehouses internationally. This family owned and operated company began in 1925 after a trip to Italy. Bringing back more than memories, the recipes that had been passed to other family members began to make its way into their offerings. The syrups that once flavored sodas now can flavor coffee and teas, as well as other beverages. The company is famous for having its syrup “used to create the world’s first flavored latte”. The 90 year old company is excited to enter into a new area of growth. Items can be purchased for business, restaurant and personal use. Torani offers gift packs for all three purposes.
Sales of single-serving coffees have tripled from 2011-2013 and the market continues to grow. The industry that began with “coffee snobs” now encompasses anyone who likes a good cup of “joe”. The capsules, or pods, as they are called in certain areas offer the consumer a vast variety of flavors.
